Gold & Black Illustrated (GBI) covers Purdue athletics like no one else. With 27 issues a year including extensive football and basketball previews, GBI is a colorful magazine that gives you the inside story on Purdue sports happenings with emphasis on football, men’s and women’s basketball and recruiting. It is published weekly during football and Big Ten basketball season and typically once in August, December, April and May.

Since 1990, GOLD & BLACK ILLUSTRATED has been covering all Purdue sports with an emphasis on football, men’s and women’s basketball, and football and basketball recruiting. The publication comes out 27 times annually — weekly during football season, once a month in December and approximately three times a month during basketball season. It also publishes once in April and twice in May. In July, subscribers also receive the annual Purdue Football Preview magazine, nearly 100 full-color pages on Purdue football.

2. Is the online edition of GOLD & BLACK ILLUSTRATED the same as GoldandBlack.com?
No. The editorial content and approach is completely different. Our goal is to make GoldandBlack.com the breaking news, real-time version with daily recruiting updates, news items, recruit videos, press conference coverage and more. We want GOLD & BLACK ILLUSTRATED (and GOLD & BLACK ILLUSTRATED Online) to be the Sports Illustrated of Purdue athletics with player features, extensive game coverage, columnists, analytical articles, stats, historical stories and much more.
3. If I already subscribe to the print edition of GOLD & BLACK ILLUSTRATED, can I change to the online edition of Gold & Black Illustrated?
Yes and no. As part of your print subscription, you get the online edition for free. You can request just the online version, and receive hard copies of the football preview, bowl preview and recruiting issue. Just call us at 800-876-GOPU and we’ll arrange the change for the remainder of your current subscription. There is no charge for the switch.
4. Do I need any special software or browsers to view the pages?
No, you only need to have JavaScript turned on, however, since all browsers come preconfigured with this setting on by default, simply make NO changes and you will be ready to view the GOLD & BLACK ILLUSTRATED ONLINE .
5. Will the site work if I a Mac computer?

7. Can I view the newspaper on more than one computer?
Yes, however, you must remember to logout of the first computer in order to login again on the second. If you fail to do so you will be denied access. Your subscription entitles you to only one login, however, you may login from any computer and you must follow this procedure to do so.
